About Me

My name is Charlotte and I’m a Private Carer with 10 plus years of experience working in both physical and mental health settings.
Throughout the years, I have completed numerous training programmes such as Emergency First Aid and Mental Health First Aid, Food Hygiene, Suicide Prevention and Children / Adult Safeguarding training.
I take a person centred approach to the care in which I deliver, meeting the individual needs of the person in which I care for.
I’m currently studying towards a Masters Degree in Dementia Studies at the University of Hull, this course has enabled me to gain a critical understanding of Dementia as well as gaining insight into the experiences of those living with Dementia and their families. The care plans in which I create focus on human rights and the specific needs of the people that I care for which are updated accordingly.
More importantly, I’m kind, empathetic, non-judgemental and I’m always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that other people feel supported.
