Hi all,

Yesterday, I went on a trip with one of the Gentlemen in which I support to Coventry. We walked around Coventry Cathedral, which was beautiful, the stain glass windows were fabulous and it had such a lovely and calm atmosphere inside.

We then went to the Transport Museum. It was here that I found my next car, the Barbie Jaguar, just kidding … I couldn’t begin to imagine how difficult it must be parking this huge car but it was beautiful and I learnt a lot of interesting information while walking around the exhibitions.

Did you know that in 1913, a motorcycle would have cost £54 and a small car would have cost £160? I imagine that a person’s earnings would have also been considerably lower than what they are now.

I often enjoy taking those that I support out on trips to different places, socialising is important and it is equally important to keep the mind stimulated, despite a Dementia diagnosis. This is one of many enjoyable trips that I have shared with those that I support within the community.
