Hi,
I’m back after a wonderful week at Butlin’s, Skegness. I know that this isn’t the usual topic of my blog but I can’t recommend Butlin’s enough, we had a fabulous time.
Interestingly, I was reading a book which was set in World War II era and it mentioned the fact that Butlin’s was actually used as an army camp during the war. It became HMS Royal Arthur and was home to more than 250,000 service men and women before being reverted back to a holiday camp after the war had ended.
I absolutely love learning about this era and enjoy listening to stories told by those that I support.
This is a picture of me on the beach listening to a Podcast.
